Keto- Friendly Brownies
Who said Keto dieters could not enjoy some sweet treats? Not only can you enjoy them, you will get more nutritional value from them! Here is the recipe for Keto-friendly Brownies 😉
Ingredients:
- 1 cup(60g) of Oat flour or whole wheat flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4tsp baking soda
- 1/4tsp salt
- 30g of unsweetened cocoa
- 168g of Honey
- 121g of Greek Yoghurt
- 28g of coconut or vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
Method
- First, you want to start by melting you honey ,in a bowl, until liquid in texture. To that add you cocoa powder and mix these two together.
- In a larger bowl combine all of your dry ingredients: Oat or wheat flour, baking powder and soda and salt
- add you honey and cocoa mixture to these dry ingredients, followed by the rest of the wet ingredients: the greek yoghurt, the egg the oil and the vanilla extract
- mix thoroughly until well combine and transfer into an 8×8 inch tin
- Bake at 177 Celsius for 25 minutes or until the brownie passes the toothpick test 😉
